Species Traitor was formed during the 2006 K-Town hardcore/punk festival. We wanted to start a political queer edge band between a few close friends, with the intent of disrupting the cisheterosexist macho hardcore & heavy metal scenes by playing 'their' music while looking like and living in ways we do.
